Sylvia and her team are nothing short of miraculous; as a retired disabled veteran, my back issues were becoming so bad, I was unable, in some instances, to even get out of bed. Everyday was an exercise in pain. After my VA MRI revealed the seriousness of my back condition, two choices; surgery or pain mitigation. Surgery, you can never undo, should always be a last resort; pain mitigation seemed the logical choice. Two years later, while I still have bone on bone/disc on bone pain, the inflammation from that is being mitigated so I can live a somewhat more normal life. I know my root condition will never “get better”, managing the pain, inflammation, and muscle atrophy from the condition without using harsh narcotics and pain killers is amazing. Just had my 1 year check and pain mitigation vs. surgery definitely was the right decision. While I know the condition of my back and spine will never “get better”, the risk involved in neurosurgery vs. my pain mitigation therapy with Doc Wolsky has been awesome. A year ago, everyday was touch and go being able to get up, stand or perform just standard day to day activities, let alone being able to take another job post double retirement. And while there still plenty of days where I have to take it easy, there are days where I am able to perform activities that a year ago, were out of the question. The inflammation from my condition is minimized, and as such, I am able to lead more of a normal life with my family. Thanks Doc!
